Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation , preferably with exposure to dental malpractice defense . The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with strong analytical and writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a caseload independently while working closely with senior attorneys.


Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of medical/dental malpractice defense cases from inception through trial preparation
  
  
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties and experts
  
  
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  
  
• Appear in court for conferences and motion practice
  
  
• Perform legal research and prepare case evaluations and reports for clients and insurers
  
  
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies
  
  

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
  
  
• Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing)
  
  
• 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice or general liability defense (dental malpractice experience a plus)
  
  
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
